WEARABLE ART #9: UBER -CALL FOR ENTRIES

1708 Gallery invites all artists, students and professionals alike, to submit entries to the 9th annual Wearable Art Fashion Show. Compete for prizes and fame!

This year's theme is Uber: let your imagination loose....

Wearable Art is a signature Richmond, Virginia event providing scholarships to art and design students and awards to professional artists.
A stunning fusion of fashion, sculpture, media, and performance, Wearable Art showcases the fashions of students representing a wide variety of design schools and universities.
In addition, guest professional artists are invited to showcase their creativity and compete for juried honors and scholarships on the catwalk.

Since its inception, Wearable Art has provided $8,700 in scholarships and prizes. Take a look at the sidebar, under 1708:Now and Then to view slideshows of past Wearable Art events.
