Preparations for the 1708 Art Auction: A La Mode are ramping up.
This is our largest fund-raising event of the year, enabling 1708 Gallery to develop pioneering programs and present exhibitions of significant emerging and established contemporary artists to the Richmond community.
There will be three tiers to this year's auction: a Live Auction at the Big Show in our main gallery, a silent auction featuring the top names in contemporary art at our Top Ten Reasons to Collect Salon, and a silent auction featuring small works by emerging and established artists in our Connect & Collect Gallery.
This year's event will be held in memory of 1708's dear friend, Emily Kinnier. The preview of Art Auction: A La Mode will be up on March 2nd and run until the gala auction and party on March 31st. Regular tickets are available for $60 and sponsorships are available for $125.00.
